20261020-1000-air-hub-commercial-enclosure Dual power input for Air Hub: USB-C PD with priority, M8 4-pin harness, IP54 without sealed connectors

Description

On 2026-10-20 the owner set Air Hub, Air Hub Pro and Air Hub Mini to commercial-grade design:

Kept: the IP54 target and the conformal coating.
Dropped: sealed M12 / DT connectors and any IP67 / IP68 target, because the RJ45 and USB-C entries cannot reach them.
Changed: two power inputs. USB-C (PD trigger, also the flashing port) has priority; while it is valid the M8 4-pin harness (V+, GND, CAN-H, CAN-L, 9–36 V) does not supply the board. USB-C range: Mini 5–12 V, Air Hub / Pro 9–12 V.

Acceptance criteria:

Spec P05-air-hub.md: §2.4, GW-05, the environment row and AIR-O-04 state "USB-C first; Mini 5–12 V, Pro 9–12 V (PD); M8 9–36 V", the M8 4-pin harness and IP54 with conformal coating.
Boards: the Linux carrier and the Mini schematics and PCBs have the USB-C PD path, the M8 path with priority switching and the Vanxoak review fixes on the carrier. ERC, DRC, EMC and SPICE reruns are clean or documented.
Costs: the cost tables in the reference-board page §6, platform-combinations.md §8.1 and industrial-linux-and-radio.md use the new parts.
Decision: a draft family decision "YBO bus connector = M8 4-pin".
Handover: the handover package is refreshed.
Quality gate: bun run docs:lint && bun run docs:build && git diff --check passes.

Adding USB-C PD priority power and the M8 4-pin harness to Air Hub

Approved 2026-10-20 (dual input: USB-C PD first, M8 4-pin 9–36 V). Plan: docs/plan/20261020-1000-air-hub-commercial-enclosure.md.

Scope added by the owner on 2026-10-21:

RJ45: a Chinese integrated magjack on all boards. The HanRun HR911105A is rated 0–70 °C only, so the part is the HCTL HC612601A-M305-A (LCSC C3021364, −40…+85 °C, HR911105A pinout and footprint). A second source still has to be qualified.
Mini Ethernet: removed (W5500, crystal and magjack); Wi-Fi is the only IP uplink. Spec R1.13, design R1.8, reference board R1.5, guide R1.8.
Results (2026-10-21): DRC 0 / 0 on both boards. EMC: Pro 61 findings (20 errors), Mini 42 findings (11 errors). SPICE: 46 and 30 subcircuits, 0 fail. Cost CSV @100 boards: Pro 50.02, Air Hub 41.32, Mini 21.96 USD.
