After the EMC and safety assessment (20261006-0822-air-hub-emc-safety-certification) the owner decided: check the design against EMC and safety certification, develop to the highest product certification level, and use chips rather than modules ("看看是否符合emc和安全认证 按最高级别产品认证要求开发 用芯片不用模组"). Read as: EFR32MG21 stays chip-down (the question asked in the assessment); the ESP32-C6 stays the pre-certified module.

Acceptance criteria:

  1. The specification sets the development levels to the strictest of the applicable EMC, transient, safety and marine environment standards, and records the chip-down decision.
  2. The schematic of both boards carries the A-class fixes of the assessment (input surge and EMI filter, antenna-port ESD, Ethernet shield termination, fuse and FET ratings); ERC and the netlist check pass.
  3. Air Hub Pro is re-placed and re-routed with those parts, DRC is clean of unconnected items and clearance or short errors, and the EMC rule check is run again with the before / after comparison recorded, including what the automatic flow cannot fix.
  4. The quality gate passes.
