The ID keeps "ssd202d" from the first draft; SSD202D is now the entry product's alternate SoC (see Annotations).
Context
章节标题:“Context”Air Hub spec R0.8 has two models: Air Hub (2.4 GHz function radio, BLE / Zigbee / Thread by image) and Air Hub LR (LoRaWAN concentrator or LoRa star network plus 433 OOK receive), three axes (H1–H14, CAN source, R0–R8 / L1–L7) and 30 named combinations, none selected. The retail price is 249 USD (product plan §5: landed-cost cap 80.93–93.38 USD).
Owner decisions in this session (2026-09-28/29), quoted in Annotations:
- Entry retail target 50–60 USD. Product plan §5 rule (50 % YBO margin after a 25–35 % channel discount) gives a landed-cost cap of 16.25–22.50 USD; at 59 USD, 19.18–22.13 USD.
- Two products with different specifications, not one board with a swappable CPU: entry on RV1106G3 (chip-down), Pro on RK3506 (stamp-hole core board). RK3506 is not mounted chip-down because RK3506G2 / RK3506J carry no storage and a core board includes it.
- Pro adds EFR32MG21 (chip-down). CC1354P10 and the Tuya ZS3L module are not used; SSD202D is the entry product's alternate SoC.
- A 433 MHz link with transmit and receive in both products, replacing Air Hub LR; it must be encrypted and must not accept recorded frames.
- ESP32-C6 Wi-Fi and BLE are configuration channels; the C6 keeps CAN.
Platform data:
| SoC part | Cost (USD) | Temperature | CAN | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RV1106G3 chip-down (QFN128, 256 MB DDR3L in package, built-in 10/100 PHY) + SPI NAND + RJ45 | 7.4–11.1 (RV1106G3 LCSC 5.56 @100, stock 1184, 2026-09-29) | −20…+85 °C | none; C6 TWAI | evaluation §2, §8 |

| Total | 25.8–40.6 | 34.6–46.7 |
The entry product exceeds its 59 USD cap (19.18–22.13) at every point; the largest single item is the waterproof connector plus IP54 enclosure (5.0–10.5). At 3–4 USD for that item the entry product is about 22–24. The Pro product fits a 99 USD cap (32.18–37.13) only at the low end of its range and fits 119 USD (38.68–44.63) over most of it.

Proposal
章节标题:“Proposal”Spec P05-air-hub.md R0.9:
- §1 / §2.1: replace "Air Hub + Air Hub LR" with two products:
- Air Hub (entry, 59 USD target): RV1106G3 chip-down + SPI NAND, built-in Ethernet PHY,
with SSD202D as the interchangeable alternate SoC (same class: QFN128, DRAM in package,
built-in PHY, no CAN; one SoC-area layout per chip, the rest of the board unchanged);
ESP32-C6 as Wi-Fi uplink, BLE radio for Air and configuration, and CAN controller (TWAI,
GW-11); CMT2300A 433 MHz link. No Zigbee or Thread. - Air Hub Pro (price per decision below): RK3506J stamp-hole core board (native CAN,
external PHY, −40…+85 °C); EFR32MG21 (+20 dBm, BLE for Air / Zigbee / Thread by image,
GW-07); ESP32-C6 as Wi-Fi uplink and configuration channel over Wi-Fi and BLE, TWAI not used; CMT2300A 433 MHz link. Air Hub LR is withdrawn: no LoRaWAN, no LoRa star network.
- Air Hub (entry, 59 USD target): RV1106G3 chip-down + SPI NAND, built-in Ethernet PHY,
with SSD202D as the interchangeable alternate SoC (same class: QFN128, DRAM in package,
built-in PHY, no CAN; one SoC-area layout per chip, the rest of the board unchanged);
ESP32-C6 as Wi-Fi uplink, BLE radio for Air and configuration, and CAN controller (TWAI,
- §2.2 / §2.3: keep the axes and the 30 combinations as the evaluated record; add AH-19 (H4 RV1106G3, alternate H1 SSD202D, + C6-CAN + R0 + 433) and AH-20 (H12 RK3506J stamp-hole core board + native CAN + R1 + 433), mark them selected; add a 433 row (CMT2300A) to the radio axis; H12 names stamp-hole boards only (FET3506J-S, Vanxoak HD-RK3506J, MYiR MYC-YR3506J); mark L1–L7 and LR-01…12 withdrawn.
- §2.4: prices, platforms, radios, capacity (entry:
GW-02on the C6 BLE while Wi-Fi is active must be measured), antennas (2.4 GHz internal, 433 MHz SMA), temperature (entry −20 °C deviation per the existing decision; Pro industrial). - §3: rewrite
GW-09as an adaptive 433 MHz link with two source classes:- YBO devices (own Air on 433): per-device key established in a ≤60 s authorization window; AES-128-CCM authenticated encryption on every frame; monotonic frame counter with replay rejection, so a recorded frame is never accepted; acknowledged commands with state read-back; binding rules as for Air.
- Third-party remotes and receivers (fixed-code / learning-code OOK): receive and
transmit by learned code; no authentication or replay protection, so recorded as a
separate lower-trust source class, never bound to critical loads, transmit shown as "sent,
unconfirmed"; rolling-code devices are not cloned.
The hub identifies the class per frame (frame format and key lookup) and never promotes a
third-party frame to the YBO class. CMT2300A receives one modulation configuration at a time:
the design appendix records the receive scheme (YBO frames on the same OOK configuration, or
time-sliced OOK / FSK) and
GW-04continuous receive is verified with both classes active. Regional limits: EU EN 300 220 433.05–434.79 MHz ≤10 mW ERP; US 47 CFR 15.231. RetireGW-08andGW-12(LR only). NewGW-13: C6 configuration channel over Wi-Fi and BLE with per-device mutual authentication and encryption, no plaintext fallback, commands checked in Linux under maintenance permission, no path to CAN frames or to Air control.GW-11applies to the entry product only.
- §4, §6, §7: 433 source in the system map, 433 security in §6, compliance per product (entry: one 2.4 GHz radio plus 433; Pro: two 2.4 GHz radios plus 433).
- §8:
AIR-O-03records AH-19 / AH-20 as selected; open: RV1106G3 lifecycle in writing, stamp-hole core board quotes (Vanxoak, Forlinx) at 1k / 5k, C6-CAN measurements, connector and enclosure cost-down for the entry cap.AIR-O-11closed by R1 for Pro.AIR-O-12becomes the Tag receiver question.AIR-O-13becomes the 433 peer devices, protocol and capacity, plus a 315 MHz US variant if needed. - §9 change-log row.
Design appendix R0.7, guide, brief, index: same changes at their level (architecture per product: RV1106G3 SPI to CMT2300A, SDIO to C6, UART spare; RK3506 core board SPI to CMT2300A, UART to EFR32MG21, SDIO to C6 on the NAND variant; key storage and crypto for the 433 link in Linux; verification rows for 433 replay rejection).
Evaluation platform-combinations.md: §7 433 row, §8 BOM for AH-19 / AH-20 against the new caps,
§10 conclusion. industrial-linux-and-radio.md and lora-star-vs-lorawan.md: dated note that LR
is withdrawn.
Line and governance: P05-switch.md, switch brief and index, product index, product plan §P5 and
§5 (prices, caps), open questions, compliance matrix (433 transmitter, LR withdrawn), Air design
appendix references to LR, wireless SoC catalogue "in use" table.
P12 Tag: dated note that its receiver (Air Hub LR) is withdrawn and the receiver is open again
(AIR-O-12); numbers unchanged.
Changelog entry; task and plan status.
Decisions requested (recommended first):
- Prices: Air Hub 59 USD; Air Hub Pro 119 USD (99 USD fits only the low end of its BOM).
- Entry over cap: record the gap and a connector plus enclosure target of ≤4 USD rather than raising the entry price.
- Pro core board variant: RK3506J (industrial); RK3506G only if a quote shows a material saving, with the −20…+70 °C deviation recorded.
- 433 on Air: the encrypted class is for YBO's own Air; whether Air gains a 433 radio stays
in Air
AIR-O-09, now aligned to the hub's 433 link instead of Air Hub LR. - Tag receiver: open in
AIR-O-12with two options recorded: Tag's SX1262 in 433 GFSK joining the YBO 433 link (US periodic limits apply), or an SX1262 LoRa add-on (+3.1–4.2 BOM).
Risks
章节标题:“Risks”- The entry product does not meet its cost cap on current prices; the gap is recorded, not hidden.
- RV1106G3 is a vision SoC; lifecycle and the uClibc SDK need written confirmation and a musl Rust build; −20 °C lower limit stays a recorded deviation.
- Entry: C6 as CAN controller is a single point and a network-facing chip on the control bus
(
GW-11); one 2.4 GHz radio carries Wi-Fi and BLE for Air. - Core board prices beyond FET3506J-S are unquoted.
- A proprietary 433 link needs YBO peer devices before it has any use.
- Withdrawing LR leaves P12 Tag without a receiver until
AIR-O-12closes.
Scope
章节标题:“Scope”About 20 documentation files; no code. Largest edits: Air Hub spec and design appendix, platform-combinations evaluation, product plan §P5 / §5.
Alternatives
章节标题:“Alternatives”- 249 USD on RK3506J for one product (rejected on price).
- CC1354P10 single radio (rejected: 10–14 USD, time-shared, no concurrent BLE and 433).
- CPU swappable between SSD202D and RK3506 on one product (rejected: two products instead; SSD202D stays as the entry product's alternate to RV1106G3).
- ESP32-C6 as main controller without Linux (fits the cap best, loses local broker, Matter controller, Zigbee host and P09 hosting).
- Tuya ZS3L module instead of EFR32MG21 chip-down (firmware and certification tied to Tuya).
Annotations
章节标题:“Annotations”- 2026-09-28: price target ("我们的网关不可以定金249,定价50-60比较合理").
- 2026-09-29: CC1354P10 dropped ("可以,放弃CC1354P10方案"); EFR32MG21 for the upper tier ("OK,我们用EFR32MG21方案").
- 2026-09-29: 433 must be encrypted and not replayable; RK3506G2 / RK3506J only as stamp-hole core boards because they carry no storage ("433 规则 需要加密,不能被录制,另外RK3506G2和RK3506J都是核心板邮票孔方案,不是自己直贴,因为前两个没有存储需要有存储成本").
- 2026-09-29: two products, not a swappable CPU; entry RV1106G3, Pro RK3506 ("不是可以切换的,是两个不同规格的产品,低规格用RV1106G3,高规格用RK3506").
- 2026-09-29: 433 adapts between encrypted YBO frames and third-party compatibility; own Air uses the encrypted link; SSD202D and RV1106G3 are interchangeable for the entry product ("433可以自适应加密,可以兼容第三方,我们自己的air用加密通讯,另外ssd202d是和RV1106G3互相切换").
- 2026-09-29: approved with the recommended decisions (59 / 119 USD, entry cost gap recorded with a ≤4 USD connector-plus-enclosure target, RK3506J for Pro, Tag receiver open). Air's 433 version is a separate product and out of scope; only the hub is handled now ("air的433是另外一个版本,不在当前考虑范围内,当前只处理hub 其他按推荐处理"). P12 Tag and Air design appendix references to Air Hub LR are left unchanged and tracked as follow-up tasks.
