The user corrected the premise of 20260911-1930-control-platform-protocol-evaluation: Mate is the marine wired solution with internal control (Hub, CAN, Mate); the Air product can be sold outside boats, so Control complements Mate for those markets and needs a control-protocol integration so Air can drive devices that are not on a YBO CAN bus.

Revise the P09 evaluation, directory index, product-index row, PRODUCT-PLAN P9 section and OPEN-QUESTIONS P9 accordingly: off-boat positioning, Air Hub as the mandatory Wi-Fi host (no P03 Hub off the boat), Air keys exposed as Matter Generic Switch endpoints so ecosystems bind them to any device, the bridge/controller role choice, a generic local lock instead of the helm lock, and the open items this exposes. The three hard requirements (offline first, security isolation, local veto over remote) stay.

Acceptance: no controlled Air/Key/Hub/Mate document is modified; every new protocol claim keeps an official source or is marked unverified; bun run docs:build and git diff --check pass.
